Words are not only a communication tool, but also explain how skillful you are.
The author suggests to replace a few words in order to show that you are in control of your business. For example, avoid saying “I can’t”, “I don’t have time” or “it is not my job” or “I do not know”. Give a specific date instead of saying “soon”.
Whether you agree with the author or not, I believe one should always walk the extra miles for the customer and should always care about acquiring new skills that strength the business.
Nowadays everything is running so fast, so why don’t we achieve success faster? Everyone had been rushing to achieve success faster and accordingly spent tons of money buying different untrusted tools such as programs, or online courses from unqualified people, which make the selling people rich. Ironic, right?
However, the road to success is really clear according to the author of the attached article. He claimed that one needs only 3 things to achieve success quickly: focus only on your work, forget the past, and use the new available resources such as the social media.
Would you agree with this? Do you think that these issues will take you to success faster?
If you are suffering from the overload work and responsibilities, then you need to take care of yourself and set some boundaries and start to say No.
This is basically the advice you are given if you complain about your mental, emotional and even physical health, while you are running around to please everyone around you and neglecting yourself.
Take care of yourself… But how? Especially if you are a woman with a family and business to take care of.
So setting up boundaries and saying No, is the most repeated advice for taking care of yourself. From my point of view, I found it hard to say No. But it never came to my mind what this attached article highlights. It stresses the difference between askers and Guessers. It basically advices that we should distinguish between the asker (who is asking but does not expect a yes answer), and a Guesser (who expects a YES answer).
Does this makes it easier to say NO? Well it does help me out though.
“Faking it till you have it” doesn’t really help in social media, especially today when audiences are more educated and more aware of the tricks that some influencers do.
The attached report reflects how being honest is the best way to gain followers in social media. And honesty is what I always call for when advising for growing any social media account.
On the other hand, this attached article highlights how the audience are becoming more skilled in evaluating the information they receive online.. Which is my ultimate goal I am always working for: Evaluate the information always is a crucial skill to gain in today’s world.
Another point I need to stress here is, no short path to success… Work hard, be honest, arm yourself with the needed skills and provide a real value to your audience are the best approach to achieve your goals.
