My Background & Expertise

Before founding Skill Up & Thrive, my work lived at the intersection of education, technology, business, and human transformation. I hold a PhD in Educational Technology, specializing in Information Literacy Skills, where my research focused on how people learn, think, and make intelligent decisions in digital environments. I spent years as an Assistant Professor, designing modern learning experiences and helping students and educators adapt to rapidly evolving technology.

From academia, I transitioned into consulting and coaching, empowering hundreds of women to start and scale their own online businesses. My hands-on experience in e-commerce, social media strategy, and digital marketing allowed me to build and manage multiple successful online stores — not as theory, but as lived expertise. This rare blend of academic rigor, technological insight, business strategy, and human-centered transformation is what makes my advisory work uniquely powerful today.
